Today was memorable for a couple of reasons. First, we listened to the final game of the world series live on internet radio. That was new and far better than watching messages coming every few minutes on a web browser.

Then Barbara got on the back of the scooter and we went to Mr.Chan & Miss.Pauline Pizzeria Restaurant to celebrate another MLB Championship by the Red Sox.

We were planning to go to a restaurant in our village, but it was closed, so we headed up the highway.

The first time I took Barbara to lunch she climbed on the back of my Honda and we went for Thai food in America. Today she climbed on the back of my Honda and we went for European food in Thailand.

This restaurant was recommended by our friend & real estate agent, Khun Pattama. Once again proving the simple rule, always take the advice of locals.

Judging by the decor Miss Pauline is Swedish. Meatballs were on the menu, but Barbara had Wiener Schnitzel and I had spicy meatball Fettucini. They call it a fusion restaurant but apparently European fusion. None the less, Alloy Dee.

Barbara gave me this shirt some time ago. I'll need to hand write 2018 on the list of championships that's on it.

Boston won 5 championships in the first 20 years of the 20th century, then none until the 21st century. Now they have 4 more in the first 20 years of the 21st century.

The big drought started after the win in 1918. Will it start again in the 21st century a century later? Baseball is a game of stats so I had to throw some in.

The Creme Brule was the highlight of the meal. We heard them making it from scratch. It was one of the best we've had and we have searched the world over for the best brule.

Luckily I had just had an excellent espresso so I didn't need to try the spicy coffee. 🍵☕
